Phelan Barker has supported Buyerdock from the very beginning, helping shape the brand’s identity and digital presence as it has grown. Our partnership began with the development of the name and brand, and continues today as we provide ongoing creative support across all aspects of the business.
We were tasked with developing a distinctive name and visual identity for the new platform, as well as creating a clear and user-friendly digital experience.
Our work extended across all departments from supporting the tech team with interface design, to helping the marketing and onboarding teams with branded materials. We also produced comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency as the business scaled.
The branding was developed through the name generation exercise. The name reflects a place where individuals can go to better understand a product’s composition, compliance, and regulatory information. The anchor motif not only references the idea of the “dock,” but was also intentionally designed with directional arrows, guiding users toward a central point of knowledge and destination.
Key goals included creating a name that would be memorable, professional, and reflective of the platform’s innovation. The branding needed to feel modern and trustworthy, while clearly communicating Buyerdock’s offering to prospective clients. A streamlined user experience was essential, allowing visitors to quickly understand the value of the platform and access the information they need.
